Welcome to A Vital Faith, a blog by Steve Tipton, the pastor of Hillcrest Presbyterian Church, in Volant, Pennsylvania. We are a Presbyterian Church in America congregation in the Presbytery of the Ascension, and are located near Grove City, PA, about 45 minutes north of Pittsburgh.
In addition to various posts regarding things that interest me, I intend to follow a fairly regular schedule posting on two set topics. On Monday's, I will post a brief outline and a handful of specific applications from the sermons preached the previous Lord's Day. Wednesday is all about Westminster, where we will be going through the Westminster Confession of Faith in some detail by way of commentary on each section.
